Small Details

When we restored the farmhouse at Lenora's Legacy, we took great care to give it a warm, homey feeling. My grandparents once grew peaches and cotton here on the farm here, and I remember what it was like to visit them when I was growing up. The small details and vintage treasures which now fill the farmhouse help to bring to life that same welcoming feeling the house had when my grandparents lived here. I hope that you enjoy it as much as I do!

Like any Southern lady, my grandmother enjoyed needlework. Of course, with 11 children to clothe, sewing was also a neccesity!

 

Most of these special items are in the bridesmaid suite. We have three bedroom suites available for the bridal party to dress on the morning of the wedding: one for the bride, one for her bridesmaids, and another for the groom (far away, so he does not accidentally see the bride before the ceremony!)
