Cara and Nicholas: A Colorful Vintage Wedding {Part 1}

Dear readers, you are in for a treat! Cara and Nicholas are the loveliest couple - both are involved in Christian outreach occupations. Their wedding incorporated color and a vintage feel, full of special details. Cara's parents from Johnson City, Tennessee brought a large trailer filled to the brim with so many beautiful items that carried special meaning for the family. Lots of lace, collectibles, photos, along with the strings of banners and large decorative balloons. So much care and time went into the planning of this beautiful wedding, and it showed!

Cara's macrame necklace was an absolute showstopper!
The decor for Cara and Nicholas's June 14th wedding layered detail upon detail for a breathtaking effect. We adored the huge balloons and bunting decorating the Peach Shed Pavilion.

Notice the ladders, strung with notes to various people in attendance. Arriving guests were invited to take a fan and sign the guest book. Don't you just love the C & N letters with the fabric strips decorating the table? And that little vignette with the tiny tricycle and peaches is absolutely precious!

The large mantle, positioned in front of the ceremony tree, was decorated with personal items and a fresh white floral garland. The pretty teal accents pick up the bridal party's colors.

Look - the cones are lined with pages from "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe" by C.S. Lewis!
Cara and Nicholas tied the knot on a perfect June day. The men wore teal shirts with tan pants, which complemented the bride's beautiful macrame necklace. Her flowers in the hair, so well placed, carried the pastel colors of the bridesmaid dresses.

Such incredible lace on the back of Cara's gown!

These smiles say it all!

The newlyweds shared a sweet moment after the ceremony.
This is only half of the festive photos from Nicholas and Cara's wedding. Check back soon to see their reception pictures - the wedding cakes are an absolute must see!
