Greg + Rita's May Wedding: Lace and Burlap

Rita and Greg had a lovely gazebo ceremony on May 30th this year. With a crowd of less than one hundred, it was an intimate wedding with so much love in evidence. Bagatelle catered the reception, so of course it was perfect.

We loved the personalized signage throughout the wedding. The burlap and lace details throughout the wedding gave the whole event such a romantic, rustic country feeling.

Oh. My. Goodness. This little one with his burlap bow tie!

And how precious is this flower girl? The burlap and lace basket is just the sweetest touch.

And babies in a little red wagon. Literally the cutest thing ever! The babies and toddlers added the dash of whimsy that every wedding needs.

Rita used lots of baby's breath in the floral arrangements and bouquets, which tied in beautifully with the lace and burlap accents.

Rita was truly a glowing bride! The lace neckline of her gown was so romantic and pretty.

Shades of purple and crimson added a great splash of rich color against the neutral flowers and burlap.

Every pair of newlyweds should be this happy!

The Peach Shed Pavilion was so inviting with the glowing white lanterns, baby's breath in Mason Jars, and rich purple linens.

The wooden centerpiece bases were perfect with the baby's breath and votive candles. How pretty are the flowers in the galvanized tin milk jug?

The music at the reception was great too!

We were crazy for this custom wooden monogram cake topper. And check out the monogram and wedding date burned into the cake stand!

Adorable signage on the sweetheart table.

Again, the lace and burlap are so pretty together. The ribbons are such a festive detail on the gift table.

Greg and Rita's wedding was such a joyous occasion - truly a gorgeous day. They are a very special couple, and we wish them all the best!

  1. Yeah, after seeing these wedding photographs I can also say that this was such a joyous occasion. Everything is perfect in their wedding. Thanks dear for these photos. I am also looking for such beautiful venues in Chicago for my dream wedding.
