Love and Marriage at Lenora's Legacy

In case you have ever wondered why we host weddings on our family estate, the answer is simple: we love love! Each and every wedding is special to us because of the love we get to witness. It is truly a joy to be present at the ceremonies that start off beautiful marriages. Our newest Wedding Wire video celebrates some of our favorite romantic moments from wedding ceremonies at Lenora's Legacy.

Joshua + Jessica's Purple Spring Wedding

Joshua and Jessica enjoyed a spectacular early May day for their wedding. Family and friends gathered for their moving ceremony under the ancient tree in our meadow.

Springtime in our gardens by the back patio and fountain. It is such a pretty season in the South.

These two little flower girls in their fluffy purple dresses were absolutely darling! I couldn't resist taking lots of photos of them - can you blame me?

Jessica's gown was so gorgeous and so Southern! She was the picture of classic beauty.

 

Joshua was one happy groom!

The two flower girls in purple scattered the flower petals before the bride, then squatted to pick up every last petal after the bride made her exit!!

The purple touches looked just right in the vintage Peach Shed. Bagatelle Caterers (a Lenora's Legacy Preferred Vendor) provided the delicious meal.

The reception featured a fantastic variety of purple themed centerpieces, each with its own unique design and little photographs.

Aren't these the most delightful wedding favors? The thumbprint guest book tree was another great touch.

Monogrammed "W"s were sprinkled throughout the wedding, including on the wedding cake. All in shades of Jessica's signature purple, of course.
